1. Why is the base plate made of stainless steel and not titanium?

Titanium is an excellent material for low weight, but it reacts more sensitively to extreme, localized heat than stainless steel. To proactively prevent warping of the stove due to embers at the bottom, we use a robust stainless steel base plate there. This guarantees the functionality of the stove for many years.

2. Which fuels can be used with the Titanium Set?

Like all our models, the Titanium version is a multi-fuel stove. You can fuel it with twigs, leaves, or charcoal. With the Universal Grate at medium height, it can also be operated with alcohol burners (e.g., Trangia), fuel paste, or Esbit.
