We always have nature in mind. Not only when we come up with new ideas for our products, but also when we implement these. We produce and refine our products using processes that are particularly gentle on our employees, nature and its resources, and consistently reduce our ecological footprint. We manufacture our products regionally with a high level of vertical integration and short transport routes. Whenever possible, we pack our products in paper packaging or cotton bags instead of plastic. Likewise, what is true for the environment is also true for our surroundings. Production conditions must be safe and fair for our employees at all times.

A lot of manual work

We don't make off-the-shelf stoves. From the first idea to the market-ready product, a Bushbox goes through many stages and hands. Our employees, families and friends put the products to the test and only if everyone is satisfied does a product make it into series production. But even then, a lot of manual work is still required for a perfect product experience.

A matter of our heart

We like to take it personally. We are a very small core team. From our founder to his right-hand woman, the production manager, our marketing lady, our creative graphic designer to the toolmaker and the nice ladies in the shipping department. We know each other face to face, we chat with each other, we party together, we look after each other and collectively find solutions. This allows us to act flexibly and quickly and to offer excellent customer service (and yes, at Bushcraft Essentials the boss himself actually advises you).
