All of our stoves come with Trivets as standard. We recommend ordering an additional set of Trivets if you plan to use your Bushbox XL in combination with a Trangia burner, so you can enjoy all the benefits of your Bushbox.

The „Trivets (Set) Bushbox XL“ in detail

  • Inserted on top of the Bushbox XL, the stainless steel Trivets ensure safe standing even for smaller cups and cooking vessels.
  • Various notches allow for the Trivets to be inserted in different positions as required and ensure sufficient air supply between flame and cookware.
  • Thanks to the Trivets, you can place an external heat source (e.g. Trangia) at any height in the Bushbox XL. 
  • Alternatively, the Trivets can be used to handle the hot Bushbox. In combination with the Universal Grate Bushbox XL they can also be used as a toast holder or to keep your coffee cup warm. Be creative.

Stove and Trivets

I bought a bushbox xl. It works great, I couldn’t be happier with the product. I thought I lost my trivets, so I ordered extras. Turns out I didn’t lose the originals, after all. So now, I have extra, to move the stove when hot, or for extra. If you do buy a stove, add a couple extra trivets...they’re worth the few extra $$.

I have good use of four trivets

Ingenious tools for handling your bushbox. I bought my Bushbox XL with two, but decided to order two more to be able to move the stove etc when I use two trivets to support the kettle.

Worth getting

Well worth getting enables you to use a small pot down into the stove and for it to be very well supported
Also useful when using a trangia burner with small pots

a lot of money.It should have been the full set including accessories.

Great product .I bought the titanium bushbox xl and paid well over £100 pounds.It would of been nice to have had the full set if Trivets and the extra plate included in the price.

Can't improve on perfection.

You can't improve on perfection! However by adding another set to the initial set at the original point of sale would be a great idea.

Bushcraft XL trivets

The trivets are a great addition to the Bushbox XL. I now own four of them and use all of them when I use the grill plate as a support because the grill plate extends onto the trivets. A perfect combination. I can use all four for without the grill plate or tent stakes. The trivets are the most important accessories to own. The only gripe I have is that I bought the Bushbox from Amazon.com instead of from the Bushcraft essentials themselves. The trivets that came with the Bushbox XL and the ones from Bushcraft essentials are very loose on the back of the Bushbox to the point they jiggle a lot and fall out. Otherwise it is the BEST product on the market. Hands down a MUST have in your camping gear! I am so glad to own one. Just wish I could own the TI Bushbox XL too. You will be glad that you have four instead of two trivets.
